your account is yet another one with about 4 years of activity. since you have the title and fewer than 40 pages of total posts, i suspect that you have not been punished much.

the more often that i see the activity of legendary members, the titles seem to look more and more like 'time and title' privileges provided by so many companies.

Actually, I don't recall ever being "punished". As for the low post count, you know what they say - brevity is the soul of wit...

...and lingerie.

i did not mean to imply that you had been punished at all. when achronos started talking about a trust system months ago, i suspected that they would have no way to set up a formula that could account for the qualitative content of posts (in particular or over the life of a user's account), and that any sort of rating system would boil down to a formula that contains length of bnet membership, number of documented rules violations, and maybe volume of posts.

i still know next to nothing about the title system, but it looks like it involves little or nothing more that length of membership and number of infractions.

ya time is 100% a factor, but if we all put our heads and together and back it up with evidence, I almost bet we can figure most of this system out.
Also if we ever manage to discover a lot of it, I ask nobody to spread it over Bnet because then it would turn into a rank boosting competition.
The point is that we don't ever figure out what is behind it. We know the basics, and though curiosity may get the best of us at times, we'll never figure out the entire system. Achronos did that on purpose.

So, basically, don't even try to figure it out. Just be a good boy, and when Bungie takes over the world you might have a place in the established regime.

So quickly? Duardo's been a member since September of 2004. I've played with him as well, so I can vouche for his Heroicness.



I've also played Halo with him too.There is a reason why he's called "atomic weggie." :)

actually i got something to add, i haven't been a forum junkie like a lot of people are, but I have recently posted only a handful (less thatn a dozen) posts/replies in all of my time here at b.net, and just within this past 24 hours i've become a Heroic Member, I just checked the post i made before this and it has me as a member, but look at me now!!!!! :)
