I know it's still early on, but the point still stands. You guys have a lotta work to do. I've noticed some disfiguring things. The HUGE scratch on the back of the wraith is EXTREMELY pixelated, PIXILATION IS NOT AT ALL SMOOTH!! So, smooth it out. The assault rifle and other guns are ok, but I've noticed that there are some triggers missing on the covenant weaponry. I know it's alien and all that but cmon, bring in the triggers.the focus rifle beans, after a while, it repeats the cycle. By a while, I mean like, Around like, I'd say bout 1-15 seconds is about right. There are some strong points though, or, alot of them. The rubber on the spartans suits, and the elites suits are extremely detailed. Down to every last pixel and micro pixel. I zoomed in on my dead body, in theater and there was a very nice network of shapes incorporated into the design of it. It actually fit quite nicely into it. Same with the elits. A tip though, when you publish the full game, make sure there's an actual knife in the sheath. The sheath itself isn't that well detailed, it is more...blockish than real, or realistic. It's not hollowed out, not that I could see anyways.
One of the huge problems that I saw, and really wanted to discuss, is that the cement barriers (referred to in halo 3 forge) are nice, they break apart nicely, and look good, when looking from a far. The bottom of it, well, leaves a lot to be desired. When you shoot it, a small piece breaks off, leaving a black, purple, and green, pixelated mess, all over a small area of the block, or barrier. I dislike this alot, because pixelation, is bad, and it looks horrible, I actually saw the mega pixels. I was in the fetal position for an hour after seeing that. The peice that chips off though, looks like the others. Well put together.

cutting in. I know that you guys don't really know how to fix this problem, and it will probably always exist but, when the 2 shapes collide, intersecting into one another, it leaves a VERY sharp edge on the graphic design it's on. Like the block. The wires cut into the cement, and leave a very clean, but sharp "cut into" on the cement. This, I'm observing, is happening to alot of the things in the halo: reach beta. The railings (alot) the vehicles, the wheels on the road, even some of the guns. A real good game, would make it so that the guns bounce alittle bit when they hit the ground, not just plop right down. Also, make it so that when they drop, they don't intersect one other. :D

the assault rifle and friends cuts into the spartans and elites when running, crouching, sprinting, standing, rolling (lol rolling), jetpacking (flying) and jumping. this is true for most guns, please take a look at the profile of the guns. it's not so obvious from the front, on the count that you can't see it.
the wraith, ahh the wraith, one second, you're owning, then the next, you're spawning next to a banshee. Good times, good times. The wraith has a HUGE graphical problem. When the gun fires, the cannon cuts back into the bottom of the wraith and even comes out the bottom. That, and the fact that the plasma cannon almost blocks out your view of where you're shooting, is really, umm, good, great job. no seriously, look at it. I've done some simple modding on a probram, on my computer with just the wraith to see how it would look, and to see if it was just the xbox, or maybe another contributing factor, but on a flat surface, aiming up, it does, cut in to the wraith.
the scorpion. ahh the scorpion, 12 splatters in a row, amazing. the bottom left covering plate to the scorpion tracks, Caterpillars, whatever you call the,, doesn't come off. Ever. EVER! the coxal gun don't work, and that's it for technicals. There is alot of pixelation in the engine, and the turret on the base of the scorpion. When the drivers hatch blows open, and you look inside to see what it would look like, and as it turns out, yet again, it's AMAZINGY PIXELATED!
