i personally do not like the loadouts. They make halo way to much like call of duty. Sprint is awesome, the jet pack should be able to be picked up somewhere on the map like equipment in h3. Armor lock is stupid and should be taken out of the game. The invis thing should have the radar jammer taken out and only be invis. Plus please put the br back you shouldn't take things out that are that important to the halo mp. Just make the dmr more like a weaker version of the sniper and make the br from h3 a little less powerful and not as acurate at longer distances. The ar is way to much of a long range weapon in the beta. Make the ar more powerful it is weaker then the magnum. make the focus rifle a shorter ranged weapon so take the second zoom off and put the beam rifle back in. so in conclusion the ar should be like the plasma repeater, the br should be like the needle rifle and the dmr should be like the focus rifle. the beam rifle and the sniper should be the same like in h2 and h3.

loadouts are NOT like COD things.
you DONT get to choose what you ll have in each.
is it so bad that you can use the loadout that suits your playstyle better?????

AL should be taken out just cause you dont like it?????wow
there are plenty of ways to counter AL:nades,snipers,shotguns,swords,team killing etc

what????put the BR and the Beam rifle back?????
dude halo reach limited the weapons so EVERY weapon will have a role and so there are no weapon clones.
do you really think the BR would be ok with the DMR?????
they are like allmost the same.
and the Beam rifle is just a human sniper with a different rate of fire.weapons are fine as they are,at last no more weapon clones.

I used to love the BR.
Now I love the DMR.

The BR killed the need for other weapons and was too versatile, the DMR doesn't do that.

just to clarify,

MLG kids LIKE the DMR they just want the bloom reduced, i would say the cool down should be about 50% faster.

I think i've heard of the exact game you just described. It's called, um, Halo 3, I think? I'm not sure if you've heard of it or not. But it's kinda old. Outdated. More people like this new Call of Duty thingy. If somebody made a game that was like an old game that everyone loved with new features reflecting the current intrests of society, I think that would be pretty cool... OH WAIT.

wouldnt make sense in the timeline that reach takes place in. It come before halo 2 and 3 so therefore there is the DMR which is a prototype of the BR. just accept that there is more skill with the DMR the BR

His suggestions would make Reach not like Halo 3, but enough like it so it's still recognizable as a sequel. If I had never heard of Halo before and I saw Reach and Halo 3 being played, I probably wouldn't be able to guess they were in the same series. If I saw Reach and Halo 1 being played, and I learned they were in the same series, I would drop dead from disbelief.

I'm loyal to Halo, but CoD is amazing, and I'm not afraid to tell you that.

However, my loyalties lie only with the game. I refuse to be up Bungie's arse and always take they're side. Becuase often, they're wrong.

Regardless, I'm part of the community, and I respect that you're part of it as well. Don't give me a reason to feel otherwise.
