OP, just give up. There is no chance that the BR is coming back, and Armor Abilities are here to stay.

I do agree with some of what you said bro. The focus rifle definetely needs something done to it because I think it is a bit too powerful and I do miss the Br a little bit. I also think the AR could use a slight damage boost

NOOO- the DMR is perfect (the BR WAS WAY TO STRONG I don't give a mad cow funk what anyone says) and the only AA that wasn't good was invis- only because how underpowered it was.

His suggestions would make Reach not like Halo 3, but enough like it so it's still recognizable as a sequel. If I had never heard of Halo before and I saw Reach and Halo 3 being played, I probably wouldn't be able to guess they were in the same series. If I saw Reach and Halo 1 being played, and I learned they were in the same series, I would drop dead from disbelief.

Yes, because If you were to keep the br and lose armor abilities, not at all changing the better graphics and engine, a complete and total noob would instantly recognize these 2 as being in the same series. And yes, this would be considered a sequel, being that this is, after all, Halo 4...wait, nevermind. I just checked and no, it's not. Sorry.

I'll just say that you just suck at the game because your missing the reason for all that stuff... And I'll tell you one by one why...

"Sprint is awesome," - (Sprint is awesome...)

"the jet pack should be able to be picked up somewhere on the map like equipment in h3." - (No cuz it's an Armor Ability, meaning that if you do have people running for jet pack it would lead to invisible jet pack guys making the game much harder and less fun...)

"Armor lock is stupid and should be taken out of the game." - (It's there to help players and to add interesnt if you hate it then that means no more sprint... no invisibility... no overshields... nothing... just old ordinary Halo...)

"The invis thing should have the radar jammer taken out and only be invis." - (Invisibility is already as powerfull as it is that is why it has radar jammer and you are unable to hear to reduce the chance or invisible campers...)

"Plus please put the br back you shouldn't take things out that are that important to the halo mp." - (Have you ever seen the first gameplay video with the BR? The BR was one birst fire... they were planning on making it like that since the beginning...)

"Just make the dmr more like a weaker version of the sniper and make the br from h3 a little less powerful and not as acurate at longer distances." - (The DMR is the BR now... It's just one burst and much more powerfull... The DMR is medium to long range but you have to be very patient)

Make the ar more powerful it is weaker then the magnum." - (AR is a close to medium weapon and the Magnum is close range... so don't be and idiot when it comes to a Magnum at close range... get to a farther range the Magnum has mad recoil so you can them if there spamming the trigger...)

"make the focus rifle a shorter ranged weapon so take the second zoom off and put the beam rifle back in." - (The beam rifle is the Covenant sniper rifle now...)

But what I'm getting at is don't ask for the BR cuz it's in the game still... It's called the DMR... It's just different in some ways such as Looks, How it shoots, and How you use it... They no longer want to make weapons that work in every situation... Cuz then the game would be so stupid and boring... And if you don't like how the game is then don't play it cuz you asked for a lot and Bungie isn't going to do that...

Maybe he has the same opinion I do.

Anyone I have seen with MLG in their gamertag or talk about MLG or use MLG call outs all quit the game when they are loosing.

Pro can't handle loosing.

Most pro athletes tend to look at a loss as only making you better. MLG's see it as a waste of time.

BR makes the following essentially worthless to carry:

Pistol
SMG
Spiker
Plasma Rifle
Plasma Pistol (so most dual wield weapons)
Brute Shot
Needler
AR
Carbine
Most support weapons (missile pod is ok)

So what you've left are:
Rockets
Snipers
Swords
Hammers
Shotguns
Maulers (which is basically a weaker version of most other CQB weapons)
Spartan Laser
Missile Pod

Its no wonder people still think in terms of "I need one main weapon, a CQB side arm, and then the rest are just junk or power weapons" (aside from the Spartan Laser and Missile Pod being useful against vehicles from time to time).

I didn't hate the BR, I enjoyed using it, but when its basically the only weapon you use aside from when you don't have it and use a carbine instead, using your mauler, or using a power weapon, then there's a problem. Right now, you have DMR, pistol, and Needle Rifle all floating around in the mix, and other weapons aren't bad now too - the Needler is useful, the Plasma Pistol is useful, Pro Pipe is useful, and then of course you've got all your power weapons.

I love the BR. This is a new game and I like new challenges. The BR shouldnt be brought back...if it did I would be pumped. I am fine with it not being their. Slight changes in the DMR is all that would be needed. With that being said the one weapon I truly dislike and gave it a chance is the focus rifle. I thought it was bullsh** when I was killing people with it as well as being killed by it. That weapon is a plague not to mention annoying. I would rather it be swapped with a more skillful long range weapon...
