Subject: The Armor Abilities Got to Go!

I remember back in the day as soon as your Halo match started up you had something to do. it was YOUR task to do it and doing this first will change the tide of game-play greatly. And to me that doesn't exists anymore. Back then as soon as you spawned you HAD to (If you wanted to win) rush out to get that Over-shield or Rockets to have a successful game and with others doing it too it could take strategic skills to get them. But now since you have AA's you can just camp and get an Invincible (30+ kills) and not even move from your spawn. All power weapons aren't well balanced on the map like on "The Pit" or "Guardian" or any Halo map really. The power weapons are just about 3 feet away from you in this game when you spawn. The only balanced weapon placement I can find is the Focus Beam on Power House. But the team that spawns by both the Shotgun AND the Hammer will most likely get it.

And they really need to extend Power House and almost double the size. Like High-Ground. Power House is like From the gate on High-Ground all the way til the AA Guns at the back. That's it.

And about that Invincible thing. Me and my friends have all done it and we have proof...Video proof.

So yeah, AA's need to either go as a whole or change the recharge time. To where it takes like 30 seconds to do Power-Lock and recharge your Camouflage. Jet-packs and Sprint can stay the same. And this game really does need better weapon placements.

I don't mind them that much. Sure a few could be tweaked (AL and camo) but overall they aren't bad.

Disagree. In objective types....secure the objective(is it really that hard to comprehend?). In slayer Stay alive and kill as many as you can and rush for the power weapons.

No it isn't "just a beta." The beta fairly accurately represents what the final game will look and play like, save for a few minor tweaks. Armor abilities will not be taken out of the final game.

It is IMPOSSIBLE for them to remove them this far into the development (unless you want the game delayed for a few years). And another thing, they aren't going to remove something because you don't like it.

I think it's more strategic than ever. I find myself willing to use more strategic maneuvers than ever now that I have a backup to fall back on. Whereas, in Halo 3, I would have just ran in, assault rifle spammed, and melee'd for good measure.

Jeeze, armor lock isn't god mode people.
I hardly ever have someone use it to a point that it saves their life.

They lock, I pump them full of needles or toss a sticky at the right time and they're dead anyway. They may as well have just died and spawned a few seconds earlier instead of delaying the inevitable by using the skill.

Armor lock is not overpowered, not in the slightest.

Armour abilities are great. They add depth to the gameplay. I can't wait until the final game and we get to fight people with all kinds of crazy armour abilities making the match dynamically different than it would ordinarily go. Crazy King is a completely different game when both sides just keep pickign Jetpack.

The beta was amazing, Reach is the best halo yet, AA's are fine, Stop being a -Blam!-, rushing for weapons was stupid im glad its gone, vehicals no longer king = win, and dont feed the trolls.

I hardly ever have someone use it to a point that it saves their life.It's annoying as all hell though. Whenever i'm playing FFA i'll drop someone's shields and suddenly they're invincible. My options are
A)Sit and wait for them to pop out, at which point their shields will begin to recharge.
B)Turn and leave, either exposing my back to them so they assassinate me or leaving my kill for someone else to clean up.
C)GRENADE SPAM!

I strongly dislike everything that comes out of AL. Yes, skilled people can use it tactically and do some really cool stuff with it. The sad thing is you can spam it around and get similar results. I'd love to see it removed or nerfed.

Other than AL, Sprint is good, Jetpacks are good (but should be more bumper jumper friendly), and Invis is good, although it could possible use a larger recharge time.
